Our Mission

About Us

What does it mean to feed people?

What does it mean to allow yourself to be fed?

At St. Paul’s, we know that it takes more than food to feed a human being. To be truly fed, we need to be loved for who we are, no exceptions. We need a purpose that is bigger and grander than our ordinary lives. And we need the strength to not give up when life gets tough.

We believe that this love, purpose, and strength comes from God.

It is our joy and our challenge to follow the example that God gave us in Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to love our world and the people in it unconditionally, trusting in God to give us the strength to never lose sight of this awe-inspiring endeavor. Because we love unconditionally…

We have built a worship community that welcomes, affirms, and celebrates everyone who walks through our doors. We grieve the reality that too many churches have become unsafe for people who identify as LGBTQIA+. It is our sincere hope that our community can offer healing to anyone wounded by a church that failed to love unconditionally.

We have evolved into a community hub that feeds hundreds of hungry neighbors every week. Jesus commanded his followers to feed the hungry, and we recognize that the need for accessible, healthy food is increasing in our community. By the grace of God, we and our community partners have been blessed with the resources to respond to the needs of our neighbors, and thus to respond to the call of God to make our world a better place for all.

We are transforming our building into a resource for community service. We offer our beloved building as a home for groups who are making the world into a better place. We ask our partners to consider making a suggested donation for the use of our space, so that they can focus on their good work. We have hosted recovery groups, Scout troops, food banks, music groups, the Red Cross, and more. If you need a community space, please let us know!

No matter who you are, where you come from or where you are going, we hope your body, mind, and spirit may be fed at St. Paul’s.
